Clearr does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app is designed to operate entirely locally on your Mac. We do not have access to your files or any information about your system outside of the specific directories you explicitly select for cleaning.
2. How We Use Data
When you use Clearr to scan and clean your disk, all operations are performed locally. The app accesses the folders you choose via secure macOS system panels to identify cache files and build artifacts. This information is processed in real-time and is never shared, uploaded, or logged by us.
3. Data Storage & Security
Clearr adheres to Apple's App Sandbox guidelines. We only access the directories you provide permission for. Statistics such as "lifetime cleaned space" are stored locally on your device using standard UserDefaults for your convenience and are not transmitted to any external servers.
4. Third-Party Services
Clearr does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. Your privacy is our priority, and no external services are involved in the scanning or cleaning process.
5. Internet Access
The app does not require an active internet connection to perform its core functionality. No data is sent to or received from external servers during app operation.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
