Privacy Policy

Global Scan Pro is a document scanning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), editing, and export app developed by Erkan Ardıç. It is designed to process documents on your Apple device without requiring an account or uploading document content to our servers.

We do not sell personal information, show advertisements, or track you across apps or websites.

Images captured with the document camera, photos you select, and files you import are processed locally using Apple's on-device technologies, including Vision and PDFKit. OCR results and document formatting are generated on the device.

We do not receive, store, or transmit your scanned pages, imported files, recognized text, or edited document content.

Global Scan Pro requests access only when a feature needs it:

• Camera: Used on supported iPhone and iPad devices when you choose Start Scanning. Captured pages are processed on the device.
• Photo selection: The Apple system picker provides the app with only the photos you choose for OCR.
• Files and PDFs: The app receives only the images or PDF files you explicitly select through the system file picker.

The app does not need access to your contacts, location, microphone, or music library.

Recognition settings and app preferences may be stored locally on your device. Generated Word and PDF files remain on the device or in the destination you select.

When you use the Apple share sheet or save an exported file to another app or cloud provider, that destination receives the file only because you selected it. Its own privacy terms then apply.

Global Scan Pro does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud OCR services. No third-party service receives your document for recognition or conversion.

Apple may process information related to App Store distribution, purchases, downloads, and diagnostics under Apple's own privacy terms. We do not receive your payment information from Apple.

If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you voluntarily provide. We use this information only to answer your request, investigate the reported issue, maintain support records, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Please do not attach private documents or unredacted personal information unless it is strictly necessary for your support request.

Global Scan Pro is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with its revision date.
